The Identifier

In order to keep track of the history of different frontend configurations (see the repeater!) the XILINX configuration files are given a unique 16bit identifier number. This number is provided in succeeding order with time and attached to a file upon its first use in the BST. The identifier is recorded in the H1 raw data (the SITR bank) with each event allowing to identify during offline analysis the channel mapping and data structure of the trigger information (the TSCD bank) which has been in affect at run time.
