Different readout modes can be selected on the System Supervisor Mac
(Silicon Tracker Branch Parameters panel):
- Hits & Cluster (Data Type 0)
This is the default mode, where the PPC performs a hits & cluster search,
and writes data formatted as described in Section 1.5.2
to the Hit buffers. - Copy Raw (Data Type 1)
This mode reformats the Raw data and writes them to the Hit Buffers. It
generates 20 kBytes of output per PPC. - Raw Data (Data Type 2)
This mode generates 33 kBytes of data per PPC per event, and is
therefore not usable within regular H1 data acquisition. This mode is
transparent to the PowerPC user tasks. - Monitor (Data Type 3)
A special mode allowing to write out specific data. See CST or BST
Routines documentation resp. - Extra (Data Type 4)
This mode is foreseen for alternative or refined hit-detection algorithms.
The mode is passed to the User Routines as an argument. It is their
responsibility to ensure the proper processing...
