Expert information is presented here.
The H1 PQZP system - an ORSAY development - is used to buffer and read out
the BST pad detector information in its full scope. Pad data, as processed
in the frontend logic (undergoing a 4:1 compression, see the
repeater),
are transmitted to the trigger card and in parallel
to a Store Card of the PQZP system. The card stores 4*16 bit of
level 1 trigger data
in a pipeline of adjustable depth, thus keeps a record of the input
history in time slices of the H1 clock width (96ns) available at a Level 1
positive trigger. During readout these data are transferred to the
L2/L3 card and written to the TSCD bank.
