Abstract The inclusive e^+ p single differential cross sections, d sigma /d Q^2, for neutral and charged current processes are measured with the H1 detector at HERA. The positrons are polarised in left and right handed states with up to 50% polarisation. The cross sections are measured in the range of four-momentum transfer squared Q^2 between 200 and 20,000 GeV^2. The polarisation dependence of the total charged current cross section is also measured for Q^2 > 400 GeV^2 and inelasticity y < 0.9. The data are compared with Standard Model expectations and are used to obtain a limit on the cross section for the collisions of fully left handed positrons with protons.
