/h1/www/psfiles/proceedings (name extensions .ps.gz or .ps.Z)

The files can be viewed and printed directly from from browsers (Mosaic, Netscape, ...)

Compressed files have to be uncompressed before you can print them with lp or lpr

If you want to uncompress files

first copy them into your own directory

and then use the command uncompress 'filename'
