| Abstract |
The production of tau leptons is studied using an identification
algorithm based on the search for narrow hadronic jets with low
multiplicity, typical for the hadronic tau decay. A search for events
with high PT isolated tau leptons and missing transverse momentum is
performed using a data sample corresponding to HERA I running period.
The search complements the observation of isolated electrons and muons
in events with missing transverse momentum. A search for events with two
tau leptons is also performed, similar to the previous studies of
multi-electron and multi-muon production at HERA. |
