Example: CST Hit data of one RIO board

First, the header information is extracted and histogrammed, that is:

The actual data block is then handed to a subroutine (CSTHitProc) which loops over the data of every FADC and histograms the Hit strips (``Hit Map''). Other histograms are a pulseheight distribution for every FADC as well as a sigma distribution.

The routine furthermore extracts the hybrid temperatures from the special voltages and copies them to a DPM area where the CST Slow Control application can make use of them.

These actions are pure monitoring, it is of course also possible to do part of the CST reconstruction on the Sili-Farm, for example the Center of Gravity calculation for the found clusters.

When processing raw data, one could also implement the HitFinding routines running on the PowerPCs to have an ``online-check'' of their performance.
