Slow Control System (Pad Detector)

The Slow Control System for the Pad Detector includes
- switching the depletion voltage for individual detectors (64 switches in total)
- setting thresholds for the digitization (64 values)
- measuring bias currents of the detectors (64 currents)
- a testpulse source (64 channels)
- measuring temperatures of the cooling system and within the active area (16 temperatures)
- configuring the frontend logic (16 XILINX chips)
- controlling the power supply (5 supplies)
- providing watch dogs and a two-directional BBL3 interface for software hangups.
Whereas the first five functions are implemented on the repeater
, the latter ones are housed in the trailer.
