Abstract We present a search for excited neutrinos using e-p data collected in 2005 by the H1 experiment at HERA at center-of-mass energy of 318 GeV with an integrated luminosity of 114 pb-1. The electroweak decays of excited neutrinos, n* ® n g, n* ® n Z, n* ® eW are considered and possible final states resulting from the Z or W hadronic decays are taken into account. No evidence for excited neutrino production is found. Mass dependent exclusion limits are determined for the ratio of the coupling to the compositeness scale, f/L. These limits extend the excluded region to higher masses than has been possible in previous searches.
