Abstract
The first inclusive
measurement of charm and bottom production
in deep inelastic scattering at very high momentum transfer, $Q^2 > 150
GeV$, is presented.
The measurement uses data recorded with the H1 detector in 1999 and 2000
at a centre of mass energy of sqrt{s}=319 GeV corresponding to an
integrated
Luminosity of 65.2 pb**-1.
The flavor composition of a sample of deep inelastic scattering events
is determined based on the properties of secondary decay vertices detected
with the silicon vertex detector of the H1 experiment and the
production cross sections are given.
