Di-Jet Cross Section

in Photoproduction Processes

Back to Physics Poster

The double differential di-jet cross section is measured in terms of the two observables that are directly related to the structure of the photon:

x : the momentum of the parton from the photon side, and
Et : the relevant scale at which the partons of the photon and proton are probed.

The curves represent parameterizations of the photon parton densities as extracted from the results of two-photon experiments.

  • the photon parton densities can be applied in different processes (universality)
  • in the newly measured region at large x and high Et , the parton densities need to be adjusted.
