Numbers and Coordinates for the BST/FST Upgrade

The sketch shows how the flex extensions of the hybrids are connected. Note that according to the type of hybrid the contacts engage from top or bottom of the subrepeater. Six subrepeaters are piggy-backed to the FST repeater.
Flexlines of succeeding wheels bundle to a stack and branch off to their respective connectors along the repeater. In order to serve the different setups of the backward and forward detector with a unified repeater and readout circuitry for the FST a kind of weaving is required.
