Switch single ROC's on/off in MuonDAQ
This action is reserved to experts!
- Start the Think-C Project Manager:
- Choose 'THINK Project Manager Alias'
from the apple menu.
Edit the setup file:
- Choose file menu 'open'.
- Select 'AcMuDev'
in the roll-down menu of the select box.
- Open 'ThinkCProjects_96'
from the next box.
- Open 'Setup' from the next box.
- Open 'edit-setup'
from the next box.
- Choose file menu 'open'
again.
- Select 'Setup.t.CDAQ_95'
(for lumi runs) open, and edit this file:
- Look for the ROC which you want to switch.
- Cluster numbers are given in the file and
the ROC's are
numbered in hexadecimal like
'ROC[1b]'
for ROC #27.
- Set 'doReadOut=1'
for readout and 'doReadOut=0'
otherwise.
Save the file by file option menu
'Save'.
Leave the ThinkC Manager by file option menu
'Quit'.
The setup file will get active after a reboot of MuonDAQ.
- During booting you should find a message like:
'ROC # 1B is NOT read out'
if the ROC was switched off.
